England is cool. Learn the most spoken language in the world with us in Eastbourne.Eastbourne is situated half an hour from the city of Brighton and one hour 30 minutes from London by train. The nearest airport is Gatwick. It is often referred to as the ‘Sun Trap of the South’ due to the fact that it is reputedly the sunniest place in England.

Who are Didac Eastbourne?
Didac Schools is accredited by British Council and is also a Cambridge centre for exams.We have been teaching English in Eastbourne for over 20 years. We specialise in English for students between the ages of 13 and 18 by offering a wide range of subjects and we prepare our students for apprenticeships, colleges or continued study to Universities.
Our aim is to provide the safest environment possible for students becoming more self-aware, self-confident, self-disciplined and self-motivated.
Your language course
Your aim: deepen your existing language understanding & get ready for your next English examsYour choice: two or four weeks in July/August
Your age: between 13 and 17 years
Your English level: at least one year of English
Your course: 20 lessons/week English & 16 lessons/week leisure and activities
Your teachers: a dedicated team of teaching professionals
Your class: average size of 12 students
Your host stay: in a local host family
Your host family in Eastbourne
You will be staying in a typical English family who will have been selected by us to meet with your character and requirements.Our host families are a part of the larger ‘family’ that extends from the school and usually by the end of their stay, the students give us overwhelmingly positive feedback about their experience. The host families are all DBS checked and all carry the appropriate licensing.
Clearly sometimes not all students get on with all host families and if, after some time, you feel that you are really not quite getting on and are not happy, we can always suggest an alternative family. And if a problem or misunderstanding occurs, we are always here to help!
Your summer curriculum
MorningDuring the morning program (20 lessons/ week) you will learn the English language in a varied and effective way. You will deepen your existing language understanding, gain confidence and improve your speaking skills. On Wednesdays we have a full day excursion. At the end of the course you will receive a Didac certification.
1 lesson = 40 minutes
Afternoon and weekend
In the afternoon and during the weekend (16 hours/week) we offer you a leisure program – excursions, sports, culture and fun. You will be surprised!
What you need to know
Travel?Didac will assist you with your travel arrangement to London and the subsequent transfer to Eastbourne. Upon request someone from our staff will pick you up/drop you off at the airport. Please also check the entry rules to the UK. Safety?
Your safety and wellbeing is our priority. In any situation you can count on our experienced staff and host family advisor in Eastbourne, especially if this is your first time abroad without parents. We fully recognise our responsibilities during your stay with us. Food?
Your host family will provide breakfast and dinner as well as a packet lunch for school (sandwich, fruit, beverage or similar).
